Royal Mail article boxes made given that 1994 have the wording 'Royal Mail', Usually above the aperture (lamp boxes) or on the door (pillar boxes). In advance of this date all write-up boxes, except for the Anonymous pillar boxes, carried the wording 'Article Office environment'.
